A recent vacation to Miami to break almost ended in disaster when the police stopped our car, a broken taillight.
My friend had convinced me to take a last minute package holidays to Florida. We were at a very cheap flight last minute luck with that device, gave us 7 nights in Orlando to explore and enjoy the Gulf Coast.
We flew from Gatwick to Orlando airport and went directly to the car in conflict with the collection of the keys to our car. We pre-arranged the car I wanted, and had reserved the first two nights at the Clarion Hotel, which lies on the Wet'n'Wild theme park near the international field. Our plan was to move to another hotel, as we wanted, but remain as they were satisfied with the hotel and what is on our doorstep.
After the break for the first night and enjoy fabulous food in the restaurant, we spent the day sightseeing and shopping. We produce an excellent day with a fantastic dinner at a seafood restaurant and a number of excellent entertainment along with great service. It was on the way back to our hotel, that things started to go downhill.
When we on the road a police car parked behind us and shown that we should stop. Ambtenaar one of the police told me that my car brake lights not working and asked me to the car a look. I told the police that he rented the car after arriving yesterday from the United Kingdom. The helpful police officer, he should open the trunk so he could take a look at our lamp failure.
When shined the flashlight in the trunk, he saw, and I have some traces of what looked like a white powder. Useful to the police immediately changed when he returned to his car, where he was to communicate some time to get on the radio is returned. It should only half a minute before the police arrived with two officers inside. We were told we had to the police for a series of questions to follow.
The station showed that the police suspect that our history is not true and in reality, the international drug dealer, just emptied a load of cocaine in the trunk somewhere in Orlando. My friend was understandably very shaken by the experience. It was nine hours before police were able to examine our history and who we were.
Fortunately, there are people in the car, even at this hour and let the police details of the person who had rented the car for our disposal of. I have no idea if the police have failed, those responsible for carrying drugs in the trunk of the car start.
