Florida Police: Kids Walk More Than 2 Miles After Mom Passes Out Drunk in Minivan

Cooper City, Florida - Authorities say a woman in South Florida got behind the wheel of his truck and left drunk, leaving her young children to wander the cause was due almost miles away from their home in bare feet.
Broward Sheriff's Office deputies say the boy of 3 years and a 4-year-old girl in minivan were with Brenda Lee Duclos Wednesday. Investigators say the children left after a couple of hours. Were incolumes.
Deputies say Duclos was going to take the eldest son from school when he lost consciousness.
She is accused of driving under the influence and abandonment of children. He refused to undergo a breath analysis test. Duclos State is released on bail Monday, according to the website of Sheriff.

Florida House Dems renew the mandate of local representatives

Organize Manatee - meeting next week with legislators in the spring of next Tallahassee, Florida House Democratic Caucus, the list of senior members, including two new appointments announced in the region.
State Rep. Keith Fitzgerald, D-Sarasota, was reelected to the Board of politics. Darryl Rouson, D-St. Petersburg, criminal and civil is proceeding in the Committee on Appropriations of the House seats.
