Organize Manatee - meeting next week with legislators in the spring of next Tallahassee, Florida House Democratic Caucus, the list of senior members, including two new appointments announced in the region.
State Rep. Keith Fitzgerald, D-Sarasota, was reelected to the Board of politics. Darryl Rouson, D-St. Petersburg, criminal and civil is proceeding in the Committee on Appropriations of the House seats.
The Council has the political power, Fitzgerald said Friday, because they concern issues that are not controlled by other committees.
"It often happens that when you do something, something important," said Fitzgerald, who needs a new professor at the College in Council Rep. Bill Galvano, R-Bradenton.
Fitzgerald said that the work is a great responsibility. This is just to ensure that all members of his party, aware of the important questions before each session.
Last year a law that would allow drilling for oil near the beaches of the Gulf of Florida, suddenly jumped to the end of the meeting - appeared at night during the debate.

The house has 120 members, 44 are Democrats. The Florida Senate has 40 members, 14 are Democrats.
